Good help is definitely getting harder to find: National employer survey
Over 80% of large Australian employers reported having some or a lot of difficulty recruiting skilled employees in the past 12 months. In 2005, 68% of large employers reported they had some or a lot of difficulty in recruiting staff. The latest findings from the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) survey are synthesised in the paper "Australian voacational education and training statistics: Employers' use and views of the VET system". Click here to download the publication.
